Originally named by the Creek Indians, Wetappo – meaning wide waters – is a deep water creek that flows into the Intracoastal Waterway, connecting to area bays and beaches via a 30-minute boat ride or 15-minute drive. Landings At Wetappo Creek is unique in that it features 114 acres with just 16 lots that range from 2.5 to 28.8 acres, each spanning from creek front to roadway frontage; see Land Plan and Lot Maps.
It is a waterfront/creek-front development close to Port St. Joe and the Gulf of Mexico. East Bay of Panama City, Apalachicola Bay and the celebrated beaches of Cape San Blas are all less than an hour by water.
Each homesite overlooks deep water, large boat access for endless recreational opportunities or restful seclusion. Pines, oaks, and palms occupy area uplands, while accessible waterways provide an abundance of bird life and both salt water and freshwater marine life including speckled trout, sea trout, Spanish mackerel, redfish, flounder, bass and bream. |
